I have been a fan of the Submachine series since the original came out, and I must say that this game has the same distinct feel, the same type of atmosphere that the main series has. Though it is a spinoff, it feels like it could be a part of the main series.

However, there is a serious flaw: the game was far too short, and the ending kinda left me hanging, which is what really hurt this game's score. I hope you make a sequel to this soon, because I sure would enjoy it!

This game is, indeed, epic. Although it lacked a leveling system and a basic plot, its creativity much more than made up for it. Giving Matt the ability to switch swords was extremely helpful, as well as the various skills that were available to both Matt and Natalie. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that you misnamed Goku's partner in the Gallery. It's Duskull, not Cubone.

I liked how you were able to swtich your characters at any time, as long as you had hero tokens. However, they all had the same moveset, save for their specials. However, the combo system was amazing! How many combos are there?

I must say that this game is truly a one-in-a-million game here on NG. I mean, most stuff involves mindless killing, but here, it's just helping a horse out of her stable. The graphics were incredible, and the overall challenge is just right if you know how to do. Definitely something to treasure for generations to come. Uhh, I think I'm being a little too dramatic, so I'll shut up now.

Pros:
-Great variety of characters and attacks
-Simple and easy to get the hang of
-Well-balanced attacks
-Tons of fun to exeriment with

Cons:
-Mediocre graphics
-Great amounts of slowdown (or at least on my five-year-old Dell)

All in all, a great game. Improve on this in Dragon Fist 4 (if you make it), and you'll get a perfect 10!

I have to say, it was a good game. Though, there were a couple flaws, stated below.

1: The damage ratio was WAY off.
2: Knuckles was overpowered. It was impossible to defeat him with some characters.
3: Once you started walking one way, it was hard to go the other, making suicide easy to do.
4: It's nearly impossible to recover once you fall off the stage. The only character with a decent recovery move is Fox.
5: There's a glitch where you occasionally use your "special" attack in the air.

Like I said before, it just needs a little improvement. I hope the sequel will have these problems fixed.
